Hey Scotty I live in Florida and am considering buying a car in Pennsylvania that I like. Should I stay away from cars there and from the surrounding states?

I mean that is not really a reason not to get a car make sure the frame is good etc. Cars in Florida should be cheap enough but if you like the ones up there have a mechanic check it out either way. Just dont get one in California that where I am very expensive here, used cars go for double the cost in Houston, and new cars typically are listed 6 7 grand below MSRP. Weird.

It should be Ok. Just check the car in person and then if you liked the car, take it to a mechanic to check it for you.

Check it for rust. If it's started rusting, then the Florida moisture is going to accelerate it. One winter in the northeast is equivalent to 6-7 years of underbody wear and tear in Florida.

I live in Indiana similar to Pennsylvania weather. I have had to get rid of 2 cars due to rust. You can't always see when it is starting and it's a bummer when it starts as it gets bad quickly. I advise to look south of Atlanta Georgia for your car.
