I use Windows 10 Home edition and Brave browser.
When trying to register, the reCAPTCHA always asks
I choose the appropriate pictures again, even when
I click on the correct pictures.
I was able to register using Microsoft Edge...

Browsers have and are going through a flux at the moment (generational improvement?). I'd look at extensions in Brave particularly any adblockers it's running or you have installed. But don't worry about it because I guarantee it will change. I use several browsers for the exact reason.
