Hey scotty, many thanks for ur previous reply.
I have a 2005 Civic, only 40,000 km on the odo.
Wanted to ask how frequently should i change my oil given that I use the car only 4 to 5 months a year, some say i shud replace it once every year with the oil filter. And since i live in a warm climate i suppose its ok to use SAE 10W-30 Honda genuine oil.

Every 5000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. Use the oil specified by the manufacturer for your conditions.
