HELLO,
i would like to ask if i can substitute 5w 40 for 5w 30?my chevy traverse 2015 lt . it is in 5w 30 full synthethic .

Probably would be fine if you are in a pinch, but there is nothing to gain.
Look at th FAQ and search bar above; lots in the archives about changing oil weight

Is there a reason you can't use the correct oil?
