Oil change

I'm coming up on an oil change for my 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0 v6 with a little over 148k miles and I was wondering if using Sea Foam would be safe/smart to use to help clean out the engine or if there's any additive that might help extend the life of my engine, also I need to change my differential fluid at some point and wondering if it's a limited slip on that year Ranger and if so what limited slip additive y'all would recommend. Sorry for such long winded questions. 🙂

I would say leave well enough alone with the sea foam.

Limited slip diffs were probably an option, so you'll need to check the original bill of sale, or check the production sticker if any( not sure if Ford uses those). Otherwise you might have to wait until you pop the cover.  Fluid types and friction modifiers should be specified in your owner's manual (available on Ford website if you don't have it).
