I have a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara and the oil filter is extremely difficult to get to. Can I buy a 10,000 filter and change my oil twice at 3 thousand miles without causing damage to my car?

You have to change your oil and filter at the same time. I have the same vehicle and have to get into Yoga Position 43B to even reach the filter and I always wind up with a major oil spill under the filter, all over the front axle and the garage floor unless I throw down two or three bath towels first. I guess it's supposed to be changed from under the car but I do mine from on top because I don't want the Exon Valdez shower.
