Hi again Scotty
I have a 1997 boss hoss motorcycle with a 2020 blueprint 383 stroker and a Performance distributors brand distributor. I'm getting oil pooling up in the distributor. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?
I have to say I'm running a heavier oil in it by recommendation of the dealers that put the bike together.

There should be a large O ring that fits on the distributor shaft.

I took the distributor apart, got the shaft off the housing but didn't see any orings. Just the metal one between the housing and the engine.

I would call Performance Distributors and ask them. They made it. That Boss Hoss must be a handful when you get into the twisties.
