Hi Scotty
I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 with 196,000 miles and needs a replacement oil pan because the drain bolt is stripped and has been leaking oil . I already bought the pan, but my question is whether it takes a rubber pre-form gasket or does one have to use the RTV Silicone Gasket maker, like Permatex 82194 Ultra Grey.

save yourself the trouble and use a thread repair kit
