oil pressure light question

Only after the engine is hot, turned off for more than about 30 minutes, and turned back on without going cold does my oil light come on.
Oil is changed regularly, is up to the correct level, and light never comes on when cold or randomly. Its somewhat consistent about coming on during those conditions. If I turn the car back off, and then right back on the light goes away with no issues and the light never comes back on after.

Its been over a year since I replaced the old sensor for a reason I can't remember.

Is this an indication of needing a new oil sensor again? Is it just perfect circumstances that being at temp, but lack of immediate pressure due to lower viscosity trips the light? Or is this just an aging oil pump?

Clarification: Is Oil Pressure sensor OEM?

Hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see what's really going on.

It's probably the oil pressure sending unit but as Chuck pointed out, to make sure, get a mechanical pressure test to be sure your oil pump is up to par.
