Scotty I have a question. I own a 2000 ford explorer limited 2wd with the 5.0. I use dw30 conventional during oil changes. A recent service bulletin suggest using dw20,  Should I switch over ?

I’m assuming dw30 and dw20 is a typo.

If the manufacturer makes the suggestion for the viscosity switch, it is generally okay.

On my 2004 Prius, it was always using 5w30  but then the dealer put in 0w20 and I was freaking out.  It turns out Toyota updated the spec where you can use either oil.  And they did this throughout most of the lineup.

As long as it comes from the manufacturer, you should be fine

You should always use the type of oil manufactures suggest. Scotty has answered this in one of his videos.
