Scotty,
Next year my Mom is going to retire at the ripe young age of 73 and plans to road-trip all over the US to visit family and National Parks. She wants to buy one last new car and is on the fence between a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and a Subaru Forester. Since I am going to help her buy it, I have a vested interest in making sure she makes the right choice. So what do you think?

Rav4 between those 2 and the intended use for sure! Look at some Lexus also, the RX is a little bigger, rides better and is reliable.
