Do you all think it would be fair if only reliable car brands existed in the United States such as Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Lexus, and Acura?

No. That is called a monopoly, and is by definition the opposite of fair.

And then that’d be the beginning of their quality dropping, too.

The more the competition, the better for the market. It keeps everybody on their toes.

You can always depend on any Fiat Chrysler vehicles will be unreliable from day one. I say that GM and Ford make dependable large trucks (GM 2500 diesel and Ford F-150 etc.) However for small cars Toyota and Honda are where it’s at.

Competition makes everyone better.  Let the consumers decide what they want.

I appreciate the other car brands because it provides competition to keep the quality ones on its toes.

I think the Kerem party is the best political party, why don't we have our US democracy only have my party. No one would mind because I think I'm the best politician and they better too. Everyone will have the right to vote, but the only choice on the ballet will be me. Everyone gives their tax money to my pockets.

My party is the best party though, you think this is fair?

Any competition or rivalry is good for the consumer (generally). Manufacturers are competing to have better crash test ratings to have better warranties to have less expensive cars though we know that these aren't indicative of a reliable brand, it definitely is good for the consumer.

Think of it, Audi might be a horrible car brand, but maybe Audi excels in a specific spot like safety features or technology, this might inspire Lexus to add more of these to their cars, keeping a similar price tag.

But now the Americans have given up on the small car market so you basically do have Toyota Honda Mazda Subaru Nissan specializing in compact sedans.
