This sounds weird coming from a teenager, but the Saturn vehicles have been catching my eye for a little while now. All I really know is that they're very unique-looking and have pretty good gas mileage. All I really want to know is are they reliable and dependable vehicles? Asking mainly about the 2003-04 ION and the 2002-05 VUE, both of those catch my eye the most. I see some of them on Facebook marketplace, are in almost mint condition and are sometimes dirt cheap. Are they worth it?
Since it's a dead brand you might be able to pick them up real cheap. The VUE was available with Honda V6 engines and 5-speed automatic transmissions from 2004-2007.
The only thing I liked about Saturn was the no haggle pricing and no dealer up charge.
If you are serious about Saturn, I recommend looking into the GM Delta Platform and the GM Lamda Platform. Those were the platforms Saturn used fir those models.
