Hi Scotty, just found your channel and love it. I own a 2016 v6 mustang i work on myself and think it's a fantastic car, reliable, fast with a few modifications and safe (as long as you don't drive it in strong rain). i also own a 2011 Mitsubishi outlander which was problematic during the first 40k miles but since all it's problems were fixed years ago under warranty we have had no problems at all and i have just changed the oil and filters and brakes all myself for the past 5-7 years or so. I fear your stories of blue smoke...we are at 108k miles.
We are waiting for car prices to drop, but we're think in 2023 or earlier buying another larger car or SUV for the family. We love our outlander - despite your warnings - and we're thinking of the outlander PHEV, but worry about a hybrid repair costs, and also think of a Kia stinger as they have the four wheel drive and luxury interiors and would be more sporty. Both we would buy about four years used. I appreciat your thoughts.
Thanks,
I would steer clear of both those vehicles. The Kia just because they are junk and the Mitsibishi because of their lousy reputation for design, engineering and build quality.
