Hey, I have a 2011 Ford Fusion sport. It had issues with the tubing from the coolant tank to the radiator. Long story short I had all the tubing, coolant housing and radiator replaced. Few months later it still over heats when it gets to hot. If its 70 degrees or higher. When it does it gradually starts to rise only when I am ideling. If I am moving it will go back down into a safe temp. Any ideas on what it could be? When it does over heat the fans do kick on so I don’t think its the thermostat. I am at a loss.

Do the fans only turn on when it is overheating or do they turn on every so often to prevent it from overheating?
