Hello all. Anyone know a way to disable the automatic door lock feature (when you put the truck into drive or reverse it automatically locks / unlocks the doors)? I've already had to replace a door lock actuator on the passenger rear door and I live in a rural population with low risk of car jackings. Sounds like it was a menu option in the 2013 and older models but no longer an option in 2014 and newer.
Do you have access to the owners manual? Usually that information is in there. You might also be able to find the manual online .
If it's possible it would be in the owners manual. But it may not be something you can disable. You can thank all the a$$hats for all the car-jackings that started back in the mid 2010's for that automatic "safety" feature being installed.
