Overfilled my power steering fluid reservoir

2011 Traverse 200000km

I was changing my power steering fluid (suck and fill) and I overfilled my power steering fluid reservoir. I drove it  around for 10/15 min with excess fluid, unintentionally. I promptly removed all the fluid I could suck out and replaced it with new fluid to the correct level. When I removed the cap, about two tablespoons of power steering fluid shot out of the reservoir, but not dramatically so

The reservoir now has a "sucking" sound. I don't know if I've damaged my power steering system.

1. Is the sucking sound indication of damage to the power steering system? Or just the new fluid being sucked in?

2. What should I watch out for now to make sure I didn't damage anything?

Thank you

You need to bleed the air out of the system by filling the reservoir, run the car and turn the wheel fully left and right 6 or 7 times and top up the fluid to the full mark when warmed up.

I always jack the front of the car up so that there is no load on the PS system while doing this.
