Hey, I have a 04 Mustang 3.8 V6 Automatic With 224,000 Miles, It starts overheats after a while of running and continues to until the temp gauge reaches the redline, I already took out the thermastat out and it still overheats. I took it to a shop and they said i needed a new engine and It will cost me $2000. what should i Do?

Find another shop, they are lying. Probably needs a new radiator and water pump at the most. Also, check your temperature sending unit too.
