Scotty got an 06 350z manual transmission 92k miles. There’s an annoying whistling noise when I drive. It only makes the noise when it’s in gear and the car is driving. When I push the clutch it stops, no noise in neutral, No noise at idle. It’s particularly loud when the car is cold and also in colder weather. I’ve heard possibly input shaft bearing in the transmission. What do you think? Thanks

It could be the clutch pilot bearing making noise. It's normally replaced when doing a clutch job.

Could also be the throwout bearing.
