Hey Scotty, I'm getting misfires on 2nd cylinder when driving high RPMs, semi-manual shifting from 2nd to 3rd and sometimes back down to 2nd. I've had changed all the coils, plugs, fuel injectors, resealed a leaking vacuum pump, pcv assembly, carbon cleaned... but it's still showing misfire codes.
What else could be causing this?

Wow, you tried a whole bunch of stuff and it's still throwing the code. It could be an electrical issue. Does the misfire only happen at those higher revs? Do you have a scan tool by any chance that will report the freeze frame data? That would be helpful, and so would the mileage and year of your tiguan.

Do you actually feel the engine misfiring and hesitating as well?
2013 93,000 mi. I purchased one year and 6 months ago, it had 36,000 mi.
I do not feel it misfiring, hesitating or any lack of power. When I get the compression test done tomorrow, I'll see if we can also view the freeze frame data of when it is misfiring.
