2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. This code comes on occasionally. I also get a gas cap warning. I plan to start by replacing the gas cap. Since I've 72K I plan on replacing the plugs for the first time. upgrade in plugs you recommend.  Any advice on the P0455 code?

BTW, your advice on battery drain led me to the IPC console (Voltage gauge). I sent the whole IPC console to Dr. Speedometer in Missouri and he rebuilt all the gauges for about 250 dollars and that fixed the problem. Thanks.

Well of course replace the gas can. If it's not there then it gets complex. You'd have to pressure test the evap system using a smoke machine and finding where the leak is coming from. Which can be a gigantic pain in the ass to do. But if it runs okay. Heck a lot of people just live with it, especially states that don't do emissions testing like here in Tennessee
