My brother has a 2018 chevy malibu. When the car takes off it Jerks after shifting from park to drive and I also put it in low gear and it was jerky as well. P0826 was the fault code.

- Normally that means that the valve body has gone bad inside the transmission
My brother told me the dealership called him and said they plugged it to there scan tool and no codes where showing. But that's how I got the trouble codes from my bluedriver, they where not permanent codes if I remember. They confirmed it was a transmission issues but also said the drive shaft need to be replaced. But from my understanding there 8 cars in queue as of Friday July 15 and they haven't opened it up yet.
So not sure how they are already saying what needs to be replaced.
Any advice?
My brother has extended warranty, but I feel even with that they are gonna do unnecessary things because it's probably covered, but if not I don't want my brother to be stuck with the bills.
