Hi,

I was really contented when Scotty made a video about a Jag S type some time ago mentioning that it is a good car and not a money-pit unlike other Jags.  However, now I'm having issues with it.  Just done 100,000 miles.  @ 98000 miles changed ATF , changed Oil and filter. Now I've got a DTC P1646 Auxiliary Inputs Auxiliary Outputs.  Don't have a clue what that means. Google search retrieves it is related to Lambda sensors.

Anyone got any experience.

Thanks

x

I've never personally seen it but hey if it runs okay it's an old Jaguar ignore codes it runs okay those are not codes that will make you fail emissions testing

Thanks a bunch for your response Scotty.
I'm in the UK and any EML light on the Dashboard cluster will fail the MoT (Ministry of Transport test once a year)
After the Light started appearing , I sense a very rough idling almost like the engine is going to stall. But still during acceleration it is smooth.

Thanks in advance.
