I have a 2011 nisaan sentra sr 2.0 133.000 miles. I boughtbthe car new. I got a P1705 code confirmed by my mechanic and Nissan separately. I was told to replace the throttle body by Nisan. My mechanic who I trust replaced it with an oem nissan part and programed it but the problem returned a few days later. My issue is not a loss of power but some times when I go to start the car it won't start or it starts but sounds like it wants to stall and the check engine and traction control lights come on. if I turn the car off and wait 30 sec to restart it starts up fine. What else could be causing this issue? Just to be be clear my mechanic said my battery, and alternator are fine. Could it be the starter coil or o2 sensor which I did replace last year?

Your mechanic took the shotgun approach instead of diagnosing. I would find a diagnostic technician who actually knows what they're doing.

Steps to diagnose P1705. (It requires using a fancy diagnostic scan tool)

starter coil

Not sure what that is. You mean ignition coil? Unrelated.

or o2 sensor

No. Completely unrelated.

Find out what's causing your crank no-start problem. Things to check are in following section of the FAQ.
