What fixes this code? Do I really have to replace the entire intake manifold? Would the gaskets be the issue? No audible noise of air leaks but car goes into a “Safe” mode where the transmission limits the revs to about 4000. Chassis control light comes on and sometimes goes off without turning the car off.
Found out the location of the IMRC and replaced it with a new one from Amazon, code and check engine light gone! Thanks fellas for the help.

I'd check all vacuum lines and at the very least, clean or replace the EGR valve before removing the intake manifold.
