Hi Scotty and friends, Toyota Camry 2020 LE, 125K miles, having a problem with my passenger power window.
Earlier, it wasnt properly going up and would start coming back down but eventually, it went up; unfortunately, I realized too late why it was struggling; the seal on the left side had bent in.
Anyways, I pulled it down and did my best to straighten the seal with my hands and out of the way of the window and then had it go up but it goes up slowly and at a wrong angle initially and then fast but only goes to the point it would get stuck at before.
The seal is no longer getting caught but now the window won’t close all the way. Here’s pics and a video of it.
Please let me know if anyone has any idea what can be done. Thanks.
You need to replace damaged parts, including any inside the door that may be affected.
