- If i buy a 2026 toyota grand highlander with the 4 cyl turbo non hybrid, would recommend that i get an extended warranty on the drivetrain? I'm asking because you didn't seem to like the idea of the 4 cylinder turbo on these big vehicles.

Please use the search function as the topic of extended warranties has been discussed here extensively.
A short answer is that you're probably better off putting the thousands of dollars those extended warranties cost (most of which is dealer profit) into an interest-bearing account as a hedge against possible out-of-warranty repairs.
