I’m looking into putting a pedal commander on my 2003 crown Victoria LX. The websites say it only works on vehicles 2005 and after. Why is that? Crown Vics didn’t change too much in that era, and I’m 90% sure my pedal is electronically controlled. Did the ecu change? Is the connector different?

Search the board for "pedal commander" - it's a useless, scammy gadget that may well damage your car's electrical system.
