Hi so I financed a 2015 Kia Sportage 86k miles. One owner had the report was taken to service properly no issues on report. I only had it a few weeks. I checked my oil to see of it needed topped off and noticed immediately it had a gas smell to it. Also the dipstick was stained like black and more runny then normally. I do have a warrenty so took it to the dealership they said they didn't smell and gas or saw any. My choices are to get my money back, keep it and if something happens I have the warrenty, or get a new one from them not sure what it would be. I don't have good credit but I put  large amount down whi h I would get back. I need to tell them on Monday. Todag is Friday. Any opinions what to do? I feel like if me and someone else smelled it why wouldn't they? I asked what kinds of tests do you do to check and he said that they didn't see any when they drained it or smelled any.

Get your money back and r u n !

Find another better made vehicle (like a CR-V or RAV4) which won’t ruin your peace of mind.

If they'll give you your money back I'd take that before dealing with all the issues you'll have with that Kia. It's getting to the age and mileage where it's going to start falling apart.

I would get my money back and find something else.  The symptoms you described indicate major problems ahead which the dealer probably will not fix anyway.  Just my opinion.

I would also get my money back.  You made a bjg mistake getting that vehicle in the first place, and with that mileage.  We are not recommending any Hyundai Motor Group products due to poor quality/reliability with their vehicles.  See below:
