Hey all. I've got a 2012 Ford Escape 3.0L V6 with 130k miles and it has been super noisy since I bought it a couple months ago. I'm not sure how it is supposed to sound brand new and I'm not sure how it's supposed to perform brand new but how it sounds and performs right now definitely don't seem normal. NO OBDII FAULT CODES. I put new spark plugs on it right after I got it home since the previous owner said it had sat in a barn for months (they were kind enough to put a new battery on it themselves). It has also since had the coolant, transmission fluid, differential oil, transfer case oil, and motor oil changed. I have new ignition coils on the way since I want to replace them anyways, but I'm just tired of how noisy it is and it's overall underwhelming performance.
I've already tried about every fuel additive under the sun in it and even a catalytic converter cleaner additive and, yet, no dice. I have a couple videos uploaded to my YouTube channel demonstrating the fun noises it is making. The electrical whining sound is tolerable since you can barely it and only when you're outside the vehicle.
Two mechanic shops and my local Ford dealership have all given me about -100 help beyond the obvious which is that it sounds rough. Nothing on YouTube helps either since they don't seem to address my specific problem since it doesn't seem to be a water pump, throttle body, or timing chain issue...
Also, before taking the videos I have attached below, I had never heard the loud rattling sound when it starts or the gasping sounds when it shuts off before, so not sure what that adds to the issue(s).

Well it really sounds like the engine's starting to wear out. That's why I mix that noise on a cold start bearings or stuff inside the engine are starting to wear. They could also cause the other sound when you rev it up. It is kind of a worrying sound. It just seems to be engine related to me
