Scotty I bought a brand new ACURA TLX TYPE S in feb 2023. It’s been a great car and now that it has 10,000 miles the AC HAS GONE OUT! I took it to the dealership and they said they couldn’t find out what was wrong so I’ll have to take it up there next week to see if they can diagnosis the issue. They did say it WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF FREON! What should I do? Should I ask for a new car? What does this say about the quality of the car? I’m upset. I spent 60000 on this car.

You could have hit a pebble thrown up from a car in front of you and damaged the condenser. The condenser is the forward-most component in the car's HVAC systm, forward of the radiator. I have an old 1999 Ford Ranger, I put UV leak dye in the AC and ran it for a few days, then put on the freaky sunglasses to look for leaks. It looked like a bunch of paintballs crashed into it, there was so much dye everywhere, haha. I replaced the condenser and it works great again. Hopefully dealer mechanics know about this.
