Hi Scotty!! I noticed that you reviewed a VW Atlas at one time. The Atlas sunroof now comes with a very thin shade to cover up the opening when necessary. Do you know if it would adequately stop bright sun from messing with vision while driving? I like sunroofs but my wife hates them because of glare. The only way she will be ok with it is if that thin cover actually does its job.
Thanks!!!

Engineers designed the sunroof. I would hope they can get a basic shade to work, lol. Usually they're made out of plastic or similar, opaque materials. Plastic is opaque to sunlight, as long as it's not clear.
You could also get an aftermarket blind held on by suction cups if the stock blinds don’t do their job.
