I have a 2013 dodge dart and I’ve noticed it has been getting less gas mileage than it normally has. I’ve noticed that I’m filling it up 3-4 times a week from a full tank of gas. I know that living around the city is part of it, but it used to last a little longer than that. It also has moments where it won’t go go past a certain speed, like it’s holding itself back. Could it just be where the car is getting older or is it something that needs to be checked?
I had a tune up done on it and sensors fixed recently and the mechanics said they don’t see anything wrong with it. The motors been replaced in it years ago as well.
I would check fuel pressure air intake and throttle body
Please see the fuel economy topic in the FAQ
One more thing to add^^
It also has a rough idle when it’s in drive and in reverse
