Hey Scotty I’m a huge fan of your channel! I have a 2013 Dodge Charger RT with the 5.7 hemi and with just over 91,000 miles on it. The other day I noticed what looks to me like small surface corrosion spots in right beside the hood. The car has been rust-proofed and there is no other rust or corrosion spots anywhere on the car aside from this spot. Is there any maintenance I should consider doing to stop the issue or to prevent it from happening elsewhere? I do have a picture that I will post in the thread. Thanks for your time and keep up the great content!
Edit: This was originally a duplicate post by mistake. I deleted the other duplicate.
The hood may be striking your body panels. Check that hinges haven't gotten sloppy, or the body panels aren't bent, and you may need adjust your hood spacers.
Grab a paint pen from the auto parts store and touch up the chips to slow down the spread of rust.
