my girlfriend recently rear ended a tanker truck at low speed with her 2015 Toyota Sienna with 164k. Hood bent in, bumper fell off and a slight coolant leak from the front. Doesn’t look like frame is bent and no airbag deployment. Insurance totaled it and valued it at $10.5k since it had a rebuild title. She just had it paid off and fixed before the accident and now deciding what we should do. Should we take the money and look at some other used Sequoias, highlanders, and Siennas? Or buy it back and repair it? Thanks!
Doesn’t look like frame is bent
Sienna's are unibody cars. There is no frame. The sheetmetal serves at load bearing structure of the car, which mean even small deformities compromises the safety of the car. Hood bent in and coolant leak means the radiator support is probably toast, and no insurance company is going to pay to rebuild the front end of a high mileage 11 year old car. No surprise the write it off, especially if it wasn't the first wreck.

Yes absolutely. Make sure they give you fair market value.

I can't see your car, and I'm not a body shop or insurance adjuster even if I did see it. Take it to a body shop for an estimate if you need to convince yourself, but I'm willing to bet the repairs hit the $10k mark pretty quickly.
