Power at idle question

Dear Scotty,

I have a 1995 Honda Civic ex 1.6l automatic vtec. It only has 282,000 miles on it, but cosmetically it's seen better days. I was thinking about using it as a generator by adding alternators on the engine, using the conversion rate of 785 watts/horsepower. How many horsepower do you think this engine puts out at idle and will it damage the engine to put a load on it at idle?

Aunt idler probably puts out maybe 80 something horsepower and it wouldn't really hurt anything when you wrap it up but realize gasoline engines I rather inefficient to use for generating electricity they will use up a lot of fuel that's why most generators are diesels
