this video shows an interesting power sun shade design that utilizes the existing window regulator to deploy a secondary sun shade layer on the outside of the window. there is an added switch in the door panel that is used to seemingly engage or disengage the secondary layer from the drive mechanism. looking for input and thoughts on this concept, and ideas on how it could be implemented. I would be trying to do this on a 2014 Honda CRV Automatic with 108k miles.

An interesting idea. I've never actually seen that myself. But I would assume insulation would be a bear and many of these one size fit. All things don't ever work right?
