Hello, lately i have been having an issue on the highway. When i reach about 60 MPH i start to get hesitation and then i cant get it above 2000 RPM's and i slowly lose speed. Any reason why this might be happening? Also, one day i tried to hit the gas to get it out of this hesitation and the check engine light started to blink. Light comes on and off every 2 weeks like a cycle.

When the engine light is on, consider that this may generate a code. If that is the case, I'd advise plugging a scan tool first and hopefully eases the diagnoses of the issue.
