Good evening everyone hope all is well. 2005 GMC Envoy what's the proper way to fill it with coolant? I plan on draining the coolant for fresh and was wondering what the proper way is do I fill it up at the coolant reservoir or the reservoir tank?

Raise the front end on ramps or jack stands so the radiator is higher than the dashboard, fill up the radiator with coolant, then start the car. Put the heat on max, and Keep adding fluid until the fluid stops dropping and it stops gurgling or bubbling. Check the cabin and make sure hot air is coming out of your vents. The air in the heater core behind the dash comes out easier with the radiator above it, because that's normally the highest part of the system and air gets trapped there. After you've done this, add coolant to the reservoir until it's at the full hot level.

Keep an eye on the reservoir level over the next few drives, incase the system didn't 100% bleed and some reservoir coolant goes in. Top off as needed.

Excellent instructions.

Thanks
