Pulling a trailer

I have a 2006 Saturn Vue v6 fwd. I want to get a small lightweight trailer to pull that has a bathroom.  First do you think it’s ok to pull a travel trailer and do you recommend any? I know it must be small and lightweight.

I would recommend not to do it unless you have to. It is an old car and towing will strain your engine and transmission. If you have to do the towing, find out the towing limit and never exceed that limit.

Yes, it's OK to pull a small trailer. 3.5L V6 5-speed rated for 3,500 pounds. It's actually considered a good general-purpose hauler.

Make sure of your fluid levels, and your cooling system is up to snuff.

And you'll need the standard electrical connections for lights, turn signals, and brake lights. And depending upon the load conditions and your regional requirements, you may need a trailer brake controller, extension mirrors, load compensating hitch, and any other required equipment.

Have fun ...
