I have a 2018 Ford Explorer Limited 3.5L V6 engine with 185,000 miles on it, automatic transmission. I was wondering if it was okay to use the lucas oil transmission stop slip as a preventative measure?? The transmission isn't actually slipping yet, but with it getting up in miles I figured it would only be a matter of time and it wouldn't hurt to ask to use it or just leave it be for now
Thanks

No!
If your transmission needed it , then it would in your manual.
Please read the FAQ before posting.
That's h-e-double-hockey sticks NO!!!
Those kind of additives are last-ditch bandaids to try getting a few more miles out of an ailing vehicle with 3 tires already in the junkyard and the 4th on a patch of ice. You don't want to put that goop into a properly-functioning transmission. Just change fluid and filter regularly. However since that vehicle already has high mileage see the FAQ for details, particularly if you do not know its service history or whether the fluid has ever been changed.
