hey scotty greetings from portugal im considering 1985 renault 4gtl with 1,1 l engne with over 300k i know they never know sold these in the us but you have any thoughts on this particular vehicle greetings

As you say it's not a model we have experience with in the U.S., but generally speaking a car that's nearly 40 years old is not going to make a good daily driver no matter what it is. It would be best as a weekend toy or project. (The U.S. experience with Renault products over the decades has not been good but they may be OK in your market.)
