Scotty, I have a 2019 Toyota Camry LE 19k miles, 2.5 L 4-cylinder. Do you think the engines can last 300K plus miles with proper maintenance even though they have Direct and port injection?

well the old one certainly did but only time will tell with that complex new system Toyota has they generally do a good job but only time will tell
Problem with new cars is too much electrical stuff, even in the engine bay. Electrical sensors do not last, everything has a sensor nowadays. Even the thermostat, some are electronically controlled. Idiot engineers.

the sensors help the vehicle adapt to changing conditions. As a result, cars today need less tune ups and maintenance, and they're a lot more efficient. I have NEVER had a sensor fail on me in over 20 years. 4 vehicles. I think that a lot of time people are changing sensors when they don't need to.
