[Solved] Quick lube negligence

I went to some quick lube shop today for oil change. after they were done draining oil, they sprayed under my car with a hose, then steam came out of my hood (maybe from engine) ''to clean off oil around it''. I drove it few hours after no problem.

Is this normal? can it damage anything longterm?

Thanks

Not really, same as the rain when your driving.

if they sprayed from the top into the engine that would be very concerning.

you should be fine, just don’t go there again.....

same as driving through a puddle.

But your first mistake was going to a quick lube place.

Go to a mechanic! It won't cost you any more , and the mechanic will take an educated look at your car. Those quick lube losers don't know jack.

@mountainmanjoe
