One of my coworkers drives a 2016 Honda Civic with an automatic transmission. He complained the other day that his air conditioning doesn't work. I offered to figure out why, then he figured out it has 1234-YF, not 134A, so my manifold gauges aren't compatible.
He took his car to a chain store, Firestone to have it serviced. They said it's leaking and they can't find the leak because they don't make compatible dyes yet for 1234-YF. Is this the case, or typical chain store nonsense?
