Well really get a different vehicle if you're not happy with the horsepower if you really want horsepower you have to do things like supercharger or turbochargers which cost a small fortune and that vehicle has good speed for what it is if you wanted more speed you should have bought the v6 version which is a bit faster

First, … you do realize that you bought yourself a Dynamic Force Engine - Toyota’s newest, most sophisticated power plant, with that RAV-4 of yours. Yes?

Consequently, I strongly suggest that you don’t dare to do any toying with it, period! At this point, we don’t know very much about it’s long term reliability: dual fuel injection, newest most advanced valve train control, variable pressure/volume oil pump, electric/computer controlled cooling system, etc., … and you want to dicker with all that? Think again, … 

… just sayin’.
