- 2013 Ford Explorer Limited
- Mirror fell off and the bracket is plastic not the metal button like on most cars. The window has a large plastic area already stuck to the window that has a heater element. My question is what adhesive do I use, all the mirror glue kits say metal to glass. Looks like what was there is a rubber type adhesive of some kind.

Probably best would be some kind of double sided adhesive tape or patch.

I personally use 3M VHB to mount the bracket for the dashcam. It’s never failed me.
Just be sure to clean the plastic mating surface of your mirror before re-installation.
