My girlfriend has a 2014 Subaru crosstrek and when she first bought it the car sounded like it needed a rear wheel bearing from the noise coming from the rear end. Basically sounded like a washing machine that's out of balance on the spin cycle. Had local mechanic check it out at the time and he said the bearings were fine. About a year later it got much louder over time, took it to the dealer and they replaced the driver's side rear bearing, the noise got a little better but its still a really noisy car to drive. Any help from others with a similar issue would be appreciated.
Could be a lot of things. Wheels, tires, brakes, driveline etc...
It needs to be investigated by someone who knows what they're doing. Find a trustworthy mechanic like Scotty.
