2003 Toyota 4Runner, 4.7L V8, 4wd, 173,000mi.

rear main seal is leaking slowly.  Tempted to use AT-205 to try and “repair” the rms but Should I be worried what the product will do to the other seals that the product will come in contact with?  Could the product do engine damage?  Mechanically very sound truck and no other leaks found.

or should I pay the big $$$ and get it replaced?

Go ahead and use it.  Realize it is just a polymer, looks like water (but is not of course), and won’t jam anything up.  Perfectly fine for rejuvenating seals.  I’ve been using it on my rear main seal leak on my truck and it’s stopped it (granted I caught it early enough).  I usually add it each time I do a fresh oil change, so it’s not a one time thing you do.
