It's 2005 Lexus ES330 that I bought used from a dealership. The rear windows worked when I got it at 118,000 miles but being single, I have never needed to use them. I removed the battery to replace the driver side headlights, then, two years ago, it needed new battery. The rear windows do not work from the driver's door controls and they do not work at each individual door. When I push or pull the switch to go into automatic mode up or down, I can hear the motor in each door trying to work but nothing ever happens. Is there some "child safety feature" that needs to be disengaged or is there some common problem that these particular cars have that needs to be addressed? By the way, I really enjoy your videos and I learn a lot from you. Keep up the good work and God Bless America!!!
Thanks,
Bobbosoe
The child safety lock for the rear windows is on your drivers door panel.
It works like this:

But you wouldn't hear the motors trying to work back there if the child safety switch was ON.
You haven't opened those windows in years. Maybe turn the car on, sit in the back seat and hold the window switch DOWN as you open and slam the door several times.
If that doesn't work you'll have to pull off the door panels and see what's happening in there.
